ARC – Addiction Recovery Care

When you’re struggling with drug addiction, sobriety can seem like an impossible goal. But recovery is never out of reach, no matter how hopeless your situation seems. Change is possible with the right treatment and support.

We incorporate the best practices of clinical drug addiction treatment with Christian spiritual enrichment and development. We provide addiction recovery that works with a commitment to provide hope and freedom to those suffering from addictions. Our passion is to restore productive lives through a recovery program that establishes emotional health, physical wellness, and spiritual growth. Our dedication is to see transformed lives anchored in strong family relationships, meaningful careers, and social responsibility.

Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) operates a network of over 30 addiction treatment centers in 16 Eastern and Central Kentucky counties. The organization, headquartered in Louisa, Kentucky, offers a full continuum of care including detox, residential, transitional, intensive outpatient, outpatient, medically assisted treatment (MAT), vocational rehabilitation, and job training. The treatment centers are holistic with CARF-accredited clinical programs, medical services directed by an addictionologist, a spiritual emphasis that includes the 12 steps and chaplaincy care, and a broadening scope of vocational training opportunities for clients.

These vocational training programs have led to ARC becoming a national leader in taking clients from addiction to meaningful employment, we call it taking someone from crisis to career. ARC’s flagship vocational training program, the Peer Support Specialist Academy (PSSA), has seen success rates of over 80 percent, with success being defined as living in recovery and employed. The PSSA is a 6 to 9 month college equivalent training program designed to teach ARC clients how to help others to recover from substance use disorder. The academy includes recovery, clinical practices, life skills, and health and safety courses and a 240 hour practicum.

ARC’s Crisis to Career approach has gained the attention of national leaders. The United States Health and Human Services commissioned a study of the top programs in the nation that are taking people from public assistance to taxpayers.
